About the role

You'll set technical direction across several teams: shaping architecture, reviewing high-stakes designs, and making the build-versus-buy calls that stick for years. You'll spend part of each week in code or design reviews, part unblocking hard technical problems no one else can crack, and part mentoring senior engineers toward the same judgment. You'll translate business goals into technical strategy and push back when a shortcut will cost more later.

What you will bring

You've operated at staff or principal level before and have shipped systems that lasted. You influence without authority, write clearly, and know when to dig into detail and when to delegate. You care more about the team's output than your own commit count.
