About the role

You'll lead multiple engineering teams through their managers and senior engineers: setting technical direction with staff engineers, planning quarterly roadmaps with product partners, and making the staffing, hiring, and prioritization calls that keep delivery predictable. You'll grow your managers through coaching and honest feedback, run performance and compensation cycles fairly, unblock cross-team dependencies, and step into incidents or architecture debates when the stakes call for senior judgment.

What you will bring

You've managed engineers for years, including managing other managers, and you still have the technical depth to challenge a design respectfully. You delegate real ownership, communicate clearly up and down, and stay steady when priorities shift or systems fail.
