About the role

You'll lead mechanical design and analysis: developing HVAC, piping, or machine designs in CAD, running load, stress, or energy calculations, writing equipment specifications, and sealing deliverables within your licensed scope. You'll review junior engineers' drawings and calculations, coordinate with electrical and structural disciplines, evaluate vendor proposals, and support fabrication or construction teams through commissioning. When field issues surface, you'll assess them quickly and issue practical, code-compliant fixes.

What you will bring

You have deep mechanical design experience and sound judgment about constructability and cost, not just theory. You're thorough with calculations and codes, comfortable presenting to clients, and a patient reviewer and mentor for less experienced engineers.
